Understand Kwala

Smallbean will be launching the Citizen Archivist Project pilot in Kwala, Tanzania in February 2010. Consistent with the age-old adage that a picture tells a thousand words, we thought we'd help you understand where your old gadgets will be heading. The pictures might take a minute to load, but we promise they're worth it.

A note about Karatu

For those who have been involved with Smallbean over the last few months, you'll notice that we changed the location that we'll be launching the pilot from Karatu, Tanzania to Kwala, Tanzania. Based upon the resources and schedules of both Smallbean and the folks on the ground in Karatu, it made sense to delay launching the CAP in Karatu until after the long rainy season in Tanzania. Stay tuned for a CAP in Karatu in mid-2010.
