Smallbean movies!

In February 2010, Smallbean traveled to Kwala, Tanzania to conduct the Citizen Archivist Project pilot. We installed a solar-powered technology lab using donated and refurbished electronics. Students learned computer and technology skills while documenting community life in Kwala. These movies summarize just some of what we accomplished.

Citizen Archivist Project participants collected oral history interviews, photographs, and movie footage. This data will be deposited in the Smallbean Digital Archive upon its completion.
