Smallbean Citizen Archivist Project Locations

Smallbean preferences its site selection based upon the strength of our local partners and the presence of endangered languages and cultures.Thus far, the Smallbean Citizen Archivist Project has been implemented at 6 sites in Eastern Africa: 4 in Kenya and 2 in Tanzania. Beginning in March, 2010, the Smallbean Citizen Archivist Project will spread to western Uganda, where we will be working with our new friends at Experience Educate! We will also be expanding to Haiti later this spring.
